New York system of professional voice training. 45 years experience in Houston, Texas. Putting voice muscles into peak condition requires the student to record their lessons, and practice their recorded lesson 3 to 5 times per week for maximum effect. This usually results in a level of singing far surpassing the student’s expectation. Knowledge of vocal anatomy brings an awareness of talent potential otherwise hidden until exercise reveals natural God given ability. Face to Face private coaching is the best method. When other teachers would not advise singing to be pursued as a vocation, time after time high motivation has overcome the most severe obstacles and lead many persons even to attain to careers in singing. Most people want to sing just for their own personal enjoyment, but well enough not to embarrass themselves. Many of these, when their voice develops discovers they have the ability to become very good singers.

Guidelines & information regarding children through teens:

Private voice lessons require repetitive exercises to develop the GOD-given voice muscles.
Motivating this age group to practice is a problem, but great benefit is derived from the exercises.
Voice lessons require self-discipline which is something most children have to learn. This is where
support and guidance is needed from the parents.

It takes about 6 months for the voice muscles to begin to see a noticeable difference. Like any other
artistic endeavor, (in order to excel) it takes self-discipline and an on-going commitment.
If the students can get through 6 months of lessons (which I call "boot camp" for singers) the chances for
staying with lessons greatly improve. At this point, the voice makes noticeable and enjoyable changes.

This voice system is incredible, but without the repetitive muscle workout required, it would be a waste of money.
On average, only one out of twenty young students who try out have the self discipline to take advantage of this
New York system. Please consider this before beginning lessons for your child.
